T20 World Cup 2026 Points Table – All Team Standings
Every team desires to stay at the top of the Points Table in the World Cup so that they can reach the semi-finals by playing an eliminator match against an easier opponent. A total of 20 teams will play in the T20 World Cup 2026, and all teams have been divided into four groups. Talking about the favorite teams of each group, India is the favorite in Group A, Pakistan in Group B, New Zealand in Group C, and Bangladesh in Group D. These are the strongest teams in their respective groups, and most probably we will see these teams reaching the finals.
As soon as the T20 World Cup matches begin, you will start seeing changes in the points table from the very first day. Now let’s talk about the group-wise points table.
T20 World Cup Group A Points Table
The group in which dangerous teams like Pakistan and India are present has been placed together, and along with them Netherlands, USA and Namibia are also included. In this group, if we talk about the top two teams, they are India and Pakistan, and it is clear that both teams will qualify from this group easily.
There is no doubt that the remaining teams are also playing well, and we will see another India vs Pakistan match in this T20 World Cup, which will be played on 15 February.
The first match of T20 World Cup 24 will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand on 7 February, after which the points table will also be updated.
T20 World Cup Group B Points Table
In Group B there are three teams performing well, which include Australia, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. Sri Lanka has the advantage of home conditions and has been performing well in T20 matches. On the other hand, Australia and Zimbabwe are also present. In this group, Australia and Sri Lanka look strong, and it seems that these two teams will qualify.
T20 World Cup Group C Points Table
In Group C there are England, West Indies, Scotland, Nepal and Italy. In this group, three teams are very strong, which include England, West Indies and Scotland.
We will see tough competition between these three, but it seems confirmed that England will definitely qualify, and the second qualifying team will be one from the remaining two. We can expect close contests between these teams.
T20 World Cup Group D Points Table
In Group D there are South Africa, New Zealand, Canada, UAE and Afghanistan. No doubt, the strong teams in this group are South Africa, New Zealand and Afghanistan, but due to Afghanistan’s poor recent performance, they no longer appear as a strong side.
In the last few matches, Afghanistan have not performed well, which makes it easy to say that South Africa and New Zealand will be the two teams to qualify from this group.
