T20 World Cup 2026 Groups And Schedule Announced
The ICC has officially announced the complete groups for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which India and Sri Lanka will host from 7 February to 8 March 2026. A total of 20 teams will take part, and 55 matches will be played. All 20 teams have been divided into four groups of five.

Group A includes India, Pakistan, the Netherlands, Namibia and the USA. Group B includes Sri Lanka, Australia, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Oman. Group C includes England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Nepal and Italy. Group D includes South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, UAE and Canada.

From each group, the top two teams will qualify for the Super Eight stage. The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four. The top two teams from each Super Eight group will advance to the semifinals. Two semifinals will be played followed by the final.
Team India’s schedule for the T20 World Cup 2026 has also been revealed. India will play the USA on 8 February in Ahmedabad at Narendra Modi Stadium, Namibia on 12 February in Delhi at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Pakistan on 15 February in Colombo, and Netherlands on 18 February in Mumbai at Wankhede Stadium. India will play four group matches.
If India reaches the Super Eight, the team will play on 22 February in Ahmedabad, 26 February in Chennai at MA Chidambaram Stadium and 1 March in Kolkata at Eden Gardens.
If India qualifies for the semifinal, it will be played on 5 March in Mumbai at Wankhede Stadium.
The final will take place on 8 March in Ahmedabad at Narendra Modi Stadium. If Pakistan reaches the final, the match will be held in Sri Lanka because Pakistan will not play any match in India.
India vs Pakistan in the group stage will be played on 15 February in Colombo at R Premadasa Stadium. The full official schedule will be shared once announced.
