Bangladesh to Move T20 World Cup Matches from India
The BCB will demand from the ICC that its T20 World Cup matches be moved out of India. According to a cricket website, the BCB will ask for the matches to be shifted from India to Sri Lanka. Political tension between India and Bangladesh has increased following the removal of Mustafizur Rahman from the IPL.

Details reveal that the Bangladesh Cricket Board held an emergency virtual meeting last night. During the meeting, it was discussed that if security cannot be provided to a single player in India, then how security can be ensured for a team that is scheduled to play its first three matches next month in the same city, Kolkata.

After detailed discussions, it was decided that the Bangladesh Cricket Board would write a letter to the International Cricket Council demanding that their four matches scheduled in India be shifted to Sri Lanka.
It was further decided that due to security concerns for Bangladeshi players in India, an alternative venue would be requested, and the ICC would be formally asked to move the matches to Sri Lanka.
